With either the 400 or 450 configurations,
the
DVR will automatically start to record the
view
from the camera(s) and audio form the
optional
interior microphone when the ignition, or
any hot
trigger, is activated. A split screen left /
right view
will be captured with the 450. The recorded
live
view(s) could be displayed with the optional
LCD
Monitor. If wired accordingly, the monitor
can be
manually or automatically turned on. With
the
optional interior microphone, audio will be
recorded but not heard on the optional LCD
Monitor. When the DVR trigger is turned off,
recording will continue for an additional 30
minutes and then stop. |

With either the 500 or 550 configurations,
the DVR
will automatically start to record from
camera (A)
and audio form the optional interior
microphone
when the ignition, or any hot trigger, is
activated.
With the optional interior
microphone, audio will
be recorded but not heard on the LCD
Monitor. On
the 500 only, the recorded live view from
camera
(A) could be displayed on the LCD Monitor.
If
wired accordingly, this feature can be
disabled.
When the reverse gear is selected, the LCD
Monitor will automatically display the view
from
the rear vision camera (A) with either
configura-
tion. At this point, recording stays
continuous
from camera (A) on the 500 and automatically
switched to record from the rear vision
camera (B)
on the 550. When the DVR trigger is turned
off,
recording will continue for an additional 30
minutes and then stop. |

Efficient Video Management
The system automatically groups video into folders
that are
separated
by day and labeled by day/month/year. Each
day
folder is comprised
of individual 3 minute video files
that are
automatically labeled by
hour/minute/second. A
complete day or just a few
files containing an
incident can
be separated and saved.
Easy Video Viewing
The system automatically separates files by day and
then
into
individual 3 minute file groupings. This allows
video
to be searched
right down to the hour/minute/second.
With commonly used QuickTime PRO, you would also be
able to stream multiple
3 minute files
together and print
an individual frame as a picture.
QuickTime PRO is
down-
loadable from
www.quicktime.com for a nominal
fee.
Endless Loop Recording
The system can be left alone to record endlessly until there
is a passenger
incident that needs to be on record. This
standard
feature would
allow the system to record over the
oldest files on
the hard drive
automatically once the 58 hour
audio/video capacity
has been reached.
Factory
authorized fleet installation services
available. |
If you are installing your own system(s), a Camera
Positioning Kit (Kit #DVR-105) is recommended but not
required.
This kit will make installation fast and easy with a Color
LCD Monitor to accurately aim your camera(s).
